We spent the first few days of school going over what ROCKS means.  As a final activity the kids made little skits to act out each part of ROCKS.  Make sure to ask your child 

regularly how they are showing ROCKS each day!

Welcome to 2nd Grade!  My name is Mrs. Tegan Litt and I am SO excited to be your child's teacher this year.  This is our class blog and it will be updated very regularly, so make sure to check back often.  Our year is already off to a great start,
and I am very happy to be a partner with you in your child's education!

Sharing our Chick-friends with 1W!

We had the chance to be chick "eggs-perts" today by sharing our chicks with 1W.  The kids had such a great time, and so did the chicks.   Our chicks were all "eggs-austed" after 1W left!

Finally getting to show our chicks some LOVE!

Our chicks were finally strong enough to let us hold them and show them some love today!  The kids just had the best time holding them, reading to them and just "getting to know them" a little better!!!  I feel that some life-long memories were made over these past few days.  From the hatching, to the cuddling, I have so enjoyed experiencing this special time with a great group of kids!

Last Outdoor Learning Classroom of the year!

The kids had a great time on Monday birdwatching.   All year they have been studying different aspects of birds or bird lives, and they were able to put all of the pieces together today... they looked for nests, listened for different bird calls, and just enjoyed being outside on such a nice Spring day.  THANK YOU to all of the different parent volunteers that helped out with the
