What an EGG-citing week!

Last week was full of excitement....each day bringing more and more chicks!!!!  I know that I look forward to this unit and activity each year, and I know the kids start looking forward to it in Kindergarten!!!  I am happy to report all 12 of our chicks have been happily transported to a farm, where they will be "adopted" by a 4H kid to raise!  It is always sad to see the cute, little ones go, but they grow SO quickly , it really is best for them to have the room and space they need!

Field trip to the St. Louis Zoo!

We couldn't have asked for a better day to explore the zoo.  The weather was just PERFECT!  Many thanks to all of the parents that were able to come and help out!  This trip would not have been such a success without your help!  Here are just a few pictures from the fun day!

March Madness Book Bracket

WINNER IS:  Diary of a Wimpy Kid!

SNAKES!

We had a visit this week from a Middle School teacher and some of his students.  They usually come and teach the kids about snakes at our Science Carnival in the Fall, but were not able to make it this year.  EVERY STUDENT in our class held and touched the 4 snakes!  I even held one too!!

 What a fun morning!
