A visit from the Queen of Apples

We were delighted and awe-struck when the Queen of Apples visited our classroom.  She taught us a song, gave us "magic apples" and sang and played the piano!  

1st Publishing Party

Fun with STEM - - HEX BUG CHALLENGE

Our class completes a STEM challenge just about once / week.  Pictured here . . . the kids had to work to make a maze for a Hex bug.  The maze had to fit on the top of a desk, have 4 turns and 1 tunnel.  Everyone had a BLAST!

Field trip to the ZOO!

We got to "SHOW OFF" all our knowledge about animals with Vertebrates while in the zoo classroom.  Here are just a few pictures from that fun experience.
