Mystery Reader

Many thanks to Olivia's  Mom for coming in to read to us!  We always love
 having a Mystery Reader!

States of Matter (cont)

In this experiment the kids got to work with air (gas) and liquids.  The idea was to cut off the amount of air going into the bottle using a funnel and clay.  The kids then poured water into the funnel, and if they successfully sealed off the funnel and bottle... the water stayed IN the funnel and did NOT go into the bottle!

States of Matter

We did quite a few experiments during our States of Matter unit.  In this experiment... we took a closer look at the different density levels in various liquids like: honey,  oil, corn starch and water and timed how long it took a penny to get to the bottom of the cup.

Mystery Reader!

Thank you to Olivia's grandmother for coming in to read to us!

Robotics fun!!

The kids got to work in pairs to create robots!  Not only did they get to build robots that actually move... they also got to program their robots to do various tasks and make different noises!  Make sure to ask your child more about this cool time in the STEAM room!

The kids had such a fun time dressing up for the Halloween parade!  Many thanks to the party-planner-parents and parents that came in to help volunteer!

Outdoor Learning Classroom - - NESTS

Our class learned all about the different kinds of nests at our latest outdoor learning classroom.  Ask your child if they can remember some of the different kinds of nests we talked about! Many thanks to the parent volunteers that came to help out that morning!
